No medical-grade skin resurfacing on or near the brow area.
No laser treatments on or near the brows.
No Botox or other neurotoxin injections that would interfere with the brows natural placement. Once Botox settles, it can alter the brows shape and could affect the end result of your Powder Brows if done too soon to each other.
No anti-aging products on or near the brow area.
No exfoliating peels or facial treatments resulting in peeling.
Don't pluck, tweeze, or wax the brow area. These activities can create little pockets or resulting in areas of oversaturation.
Do not tint or laminate the brows. We need your brows in their natural color state to best choose the perfect brow color for you, as well as in their natural unaltered shape to give you the perfect shape for your face.
No tanning beds or overexposure to the sun. We cannot work on skin that is sunburned and, unfortunately, your procedure would need to be re-scheduled.
No alcohol. It can cause excessive bleeding as it can act as a "blood thinner".
No caffeine the day of your Powder Brows (sorry!). It can elevate the blood pressure, make you more jittery, and can increase bleeding. You are allowed all you'd like after the procedure, however!
No aspirin, ibuprofen (Motrin or Advil), or naproxen (Aleve). All can increase bleeding.
You may wear your regular makeup to the appointment or either no makeup. You brows will be custom "mapped" to your unique facial structure, as well as color-matched to your brow hair and skin tones. You will be involved in the decision-making of your new brows, and it is our goal to give you very natural-looking, soft brows with a perfect powdery look that you will be very comfortable and confident with!
